X-Lite

X - Lite is a VoIP Freeware CounterPath Solutions, Inc., which allows each user to perform ( Xten Networks, Inc. earlier) telephone calls over the Internet from PC to PC, PC to landline and fixed-to- PC. Some VoIP providers offer their customers a pre-configured X - Lite.

Features

X - Lite provides the voice codecs G.711, SPX, iLBC and GSM. Windows also BroadVoice, DVI4 and LibPCM There are the services brokering, auto answer and conference available, in version 3, a SIMPLE -based Presence implementation ( Windows).

Video calling is possible with version 3, supports the codec is H.263.

Version 4.0 was released in September 2010 and includes the new features of version 3.0 with the user interface of Bria.

The X -Lite versions of the manufacturer offers paid versions ( eyeBeam, Bria and a software development kit ( SDK) ) with greater functionality.
