X-mas

The notation X - mas Xmas, also Xtmas or Xstmas is often used as an abbreviation for the word Christmas " Christmas" in the English language.

Since early Christian times was the Greek letter chi ( X), as well as Chi and Rho (XP) together, as an abbreviation for the word Christos ( ΧΡΙΣΤΟΣ ). X'temmas is in the English language occupied since 1551.
