X-ray spectroscopy
X-ray spectroscopy ( XRS ) is the generic term for a variety of spectroscopic measurement methods of physics, whose commonality lies in the use of X-rays. Broadly speaking, the part of the electromagnetic spectrum of X-rays even further into the hard X-rays (from about 10 keV ) and the soft X-rays divided ( less than about 10 keV):
- X-ray absorption spectroscopy
- X-ray emission spectroscopy
- Photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS)
- X-ray fluorescence analysis ( XRF)
- Energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX )
- Wavelength-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy ( WDX )
