Xavier Henry

Xavier Henry ( born March 15, 1991 Gent, Belgium ) is an American professional basketball player who is currently with the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA under contract.

College

Henry was during his high school years as one of the greatest talents of the country. First, he said the University of Memphis to after their head coach John Calipari left the team, Henry announced his move to the University of Kansas. In his first game for ' Jayhawks ' Henry broke with 27 points the record for the most points for a freshman in the first game. Henry decided to leave the college and to sign up for the NBA Draft after only one year.

NBA

When NBA Draft 2010 Henry was selected in 12th place of the Memphis Grizzlies. However, he could not prevail in Memphis and was transferred after a year to the New Orleans Hornets. Even with the Hornets did not succeed him to play in the rotation, so that he had to leave New Orleans after two years. On September 5, 2013, Henry signed a contract with the Los Angeles Lakers. Already in his first game scored Henry with 22 points a career record, and thus helped the Lakers to a 116:103 over the Los Angeles Clippers.
