Xavier Ruiz

Xavier Ruiz ( * April 1970 in Geneva ) is a Swiss film producer and director.

Career

Ruiz studied from 1992 to 1994 at the ESRA ( Ecole Supérieure de Réalisation Audiovisual ) in Paris. During the 90s, he produced many short films like Perfect Day and Le Talon d' Achille. In 1997 he worked on the mini TV series The toilet area. In 2004 he produced his first feature film Neutre. The following year, his documentary Swiss Made originated in Hollywood. In 2009, he worked as a director, screenwriter and producer in the film Verso.
