Xenosaurus platyceps

The bumps lizards ( Xenosaurus ) are a genus of the order Squamata ( Squamata ).

They are native to Mexico, Central America and southern China. Their closest relatives are the crawl and the grass crawl. Among their shed they have not grown together bone plates. They have well-developed limbs.

System

Hump ​​lizards belong to the crawl -like narrow sense ( Diploglossa ) and are the sister group of a common taxon from sneaking ( Anguidae ) and Heloderma ( Helodermatidae ).
