Xerox art

Copy Art or Xerox Art is an art direction, more exactly a subset of printmaking.

Copy Art originated in the late 1970s to the early 1980s with the introduction of the Xerox photocopier. The art works are made by repeatedly copying the original copy, it may be images or objects. By folding, designating and collage of copies created his own works. The Copy type had its peak in the 1990s with the advent of color copy. There are special prices for this art form. Copy Art is often used in mail art.
