Xherdan Shaqiri ( 2012)
Xherdan Shaqiri [ d͡ʒɛɾdan ʃaciɾɨ ] (born 10 October 1991 in Gnjilane, Yugoslavia, now Kosovo ) is a Swiss football player who is under contract at Bayern Munich. He is a two-footed midfielder.
Birth and childhood
Xherdan Shaqiri was born in 1991 as Kosovo Albanian parents in what was then Yugoslavia son Gnjilane. With his family, he moved in early childhood in Switzerland and grew up in modest circumstances on a farm in Augst BL. His brother earth's Shaqiri is at FC Pratteln under contract.
He began with four years at SV Augst and joined with eight years in the youth department of FC Basel. When " U-15 Nike Cup 2007» he was named the best player of the tournament. For the 2nd team, he scored between 2008 and 2009 in 19 league games third eight goals.
At 17, he was at FC Basel on 2 January 2009, dated for three years professional contract. FC Bayern Munich
For the 2012/13 season Shaqiri moved to Bayern Munich. He signed a four-year contract until 30 June 2016. Via the transfer fee was not disclosed. After a successful pre-season, during which he was able to achieve seven goals in nine games, he won on August 12, 2012 his first title with Bayern Munich. In the match for the DFL - Supercup his team against the reigning champions Borussia Dortmund won 2-1, with Shaqiri came on in the 86th minute for Arjen Robben. His first Bundesliga game he played on the opening day of the Bundesliga season on 25 August 2012 at the away game against SpVgg Greuther Fürth, as he stood in the starting lineup. In 72 minutes he was substituted for Bastian Schweinsteiger. After Shaqiri had already prepared the 1-0 in the Champions League against BATE Borisov game in a 4-1 victory by Mario Gomez, who at only 1.69 m large Swiss succeeded after submission of Gomez again with a header for temporary 3-0 his first goal for Bayern in the Champions League. His first Bundesliga shot Shaqiri on December 14, 2012 in the 1-1 draw against Borussia Mönchengladbach. In his first season he won with Bayern the triple consisting of the German Cup, the DFB Cup and the Champions League.
14 November 2009 Shaqiri made his debut in the U-21 national team, which defeated the U -21 Turkey 3-1 in Trabzon. He took from 11 to 25 June 2011, at the U-21 European Championship in Denmark in part and scored in the 1st group stage match against the hosts a 1-0 winner. With the team he penetrated to the final, which was, however, lost 0-2 against Spain.
His debut in the senior team he gave on March 3, 2010 in St. Gallen in the 1-3 defeat in the Test match against Uruguay. In May of Ottmar Hitzfeld nominated for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, he came on June 25 in their final group game ( a 0-0 draw against Honduras ) to a twelve-minute use.
