Xia Baolong (Chinese夏宝龙; * 1952 in Tianjin) is a politician in the People's Republic of China.
Xia joined in 1973 the Chinese Communist Party. After various positions in politics and administration in the City Hexi District of Tianjin from 1997 to 2003 he was deputy mayor of this city.
He graduated in Economics from Peking University in 2002 and obtained the degree Doctor.
In 2003 he became deputy party secretary in the province of Zhejiang. From 2011 he is the successor of Lü Zushan first business leader, governor of that province.
In December 2012, he was appointed party secretary of the province. His successor as governor was Li Qiang.
He was a candidate in 1997 and 2012 is a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China since November.
