Xiahou Wei

Xiahou Wei was an officer of the Chinese Wei Dynasty to the Three Kingdoms period.

Life

As one of the sons of meritorious general Xiahou Yuan, he received after his death in the Battle of Mount Dingjun (219 ) a portion of his troops. On Sima Yi's proposal, he led, together with his brother Xiahou Ba at the Battle of Wu Zhang - level. Later he participated in the submission of the Governor Gongsun Yuan, administered the Liaodong province (present-day North Korea) and had broken away from the Wei - supremacy.
