Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture

The Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture of Tujia and Miao (湘西 土家族 苗族 自治州, Xiangxi tǔjiāzú Miaozu zìzhìzhōu ) is an autonomous district in the northwest, central China's Hunan Province. Its capital is Jishou.

Administrative Divisions

Xiangxi is composed of an independent city and seven counties. These are:

• Jishou City - (吉首 市, Jíshǒu Shì );
• Luxi county - (泸溪县, Luxi Xiàn );
• Fenghuang county - (凤凰县, Fenghuang Xiàn );
• District Huayuan - (花垣 县, Huayuan Xiàn );
• Circle Baojing - (保靖 县, Bǎojìng Xiàn );
• Circle Guzhang - (古丈 县, Gǔzhàng Xiàn );
• Circle Wing Shun - (永顺 县, Yǒngshùn Xiàn );
• Longshan county - (龙山 县, Longshan Xiàn ).
