Xiaoluren

Xiaoluren (Chinese小 绿 人, "Little Green Man", officially Chinese行人 倒数 计时 显示, " pedestrian counting display " ) is an animated traffic signs in Taiwan. The variant of a traffic light was first introduced in Taipei, more precisely between the Song -shou and Shi -fu Road in 1999, and spread throughout the following years all over the country.

The LED indicator for the traffic light shows a little green man with hat that animates seven different frames as if he would run, and can run faster by varying the picture change times at the end of the signal phase. The man with hat basic form is quite close to the traffic light man, but these are not animated.
