Xilin Hot

Xilin Hot (锡林浩特 市, Xilin Haote Shì ) is a county-level city of Xilinguole Federal in the northern center of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China. It has an area of ​​15,758 km ² and has a population of 150,000. Xilin Hot is the capital of the state.

In May 2011, there were protests in the city of the Mongols against the mining policy of the Beijing government that promotes tougher coal mining in the region and considered as an energy basis. The Government of the Autonomous Region demanded that the mining industry to fulfill their social responsibility.
