Xindonga

Xindonga is chosen by Portuguese anthropologists collective name of four small peoples who settled in the extreme southeast of Angola: the Cusso ( Mbukushu ), the Dilico (or Dirico ), the Sambio and Maxico. These ethnic groups live in the sparsely populated area, which today belongs to the province of Cuando Cubango, side by side with other groups that belong to the Ovambo, the Ganguela or the Khoisan. They are farmers, self-catering, supplementing small animals and occasionally fishing.
