Xiong Guobao
Xiong Guobao (Chinese熊 国宝, born 1 November 1962) is a former Chinese badminton player.
Career
Xiong Guobao 1985 was second at the Thailand Open in men's singles. A year later he won the bronze medal at the Asian Games in mixed doubles with Qian Ping. In 1988, he won again in the men's singles at the Thailand Open and the Swedish Open, in 1989 at the Indonesia Open and the French Open. 1986, 1988 and 1990, he won the Thomas Cup with the Chinese team. In the Badminton World Championships 1987 he retired as 1989 in the quarterfinals.
