Xiu Xiu

Xiu Xiu [ ʃu ː ʃu ː ] is one of San José (USA) derived alternative indie rock band, whose founder and only permanent member Jamie Stewart. The band emerged from the group Ten In The Swear Jar in 1999. Their music is generally described as autobiographical and theatrical - with strong influences from modern classical and improvised music, Britpop and post-punk (particularly Joy Division ).
