Xu Jie

Xu Jie (Chinese徐洁, Pinyin Xu Jie, born January 21, 1982 in Tianjin) is a person born in the People's Republic of China, Polish table tennis player. She participated in the 2008 Olympic Games.

There seems to be yet another Chinese table tennis player named Xu Jie, who has played in Wales until 2002 and then moved to TuS Bad Driburg.

Career

Xu Jie was born in Tianjin, China. Her mother was a table tennis trainer and taught her to play with. First, she appeared internationally in China, such as the 1999 Pro Tour Turner in Guilin ( China). In 1999, she moved to Poland in 2003 and received Polish citizenship. Since then she starts internationally for Poland.

She joined the club AJD Print Cycero Rolnik AZS Częstochowa to, changed to 2005 GLKS Wanzl Scania Nadarzyn, played from 2010 to 2012 at KTS Tarnobrzeg and then returned to China. Five times they won the national championship in Polish Single (2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010 ), twice in double (2006, 2007), three times in the Mixed (2005, 2006, 2008 ) and twice with the team of KTS Tarnobrzeg (2011, 2012).

From 2006 to 2010 she took part in all five World Cups, from 2007 to 2011 in all five European Championships. They brought in the 2008 European Championships bronze medal in doubles with Natalia Partyka, 2009, she reached the final of the women's team, which was lost against the Netherlands.

2008, Xu Jie qualified for participation in the Olympic Games. Here she was defeated in the first round of playing for France Yi Fang Xian, with the team they came in at number nine.

National league

Even outside Poland Xu Jie was active in European clubs. After a year stint at French club Montpellier TT 2006 she moved to TV Busenbach in the German Bundesliga, where she remained until 2007. She was then obliged by TuS Bad Driburg.
