Xu Linyin

Xu Linyin (Chinese徐林胤; born March 20, 1986 in Shanghai) is a Chinese volleyball player.

Career

Xu graduated in 2005 in Brazil, his first tournament together with his longtime partner Wu Penggen. At the World Championships in Gstaad in 2007 they finished a good fifth place. Xu was honored as 2007 FIVB Most Improved Player. At the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing Wu / Xu managed before a home crowd in ninth also in the top ten. After that, Xu and Wu separated for a year to be reunited way back on track since the end of 2009. 2010 reach Wu / Xu with the tournament wins in Moscow and Marseille their greatest successes so far. Xu received the 2010 award for " Most Inspirational FIVB ".
