Xuancheng

Xuancheng (Chinese宣 城市, Pinyin Xuancheng Shì ) is a prefecture-level city in the southeastern Anhui province. Xuancheng is bounded by the prefecture-level cities in the southwest Huangshan, Chizhou to the west and Wuhu to the northwest, and by the Zhejiang and Jiangsu provinces east.

Located on its territory Twin Pagodas of Guangjiao Temple (广 教 寺 双塔, Guǎngjiāo sì Shuang tǎ ) and the Chenshan - site (陈 山 遗址, Chenshan yízhǐ ) are on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China.

Administrative Divisions

At county level, sets the Xuancheng prefecture-level city of a township, an independent city and five circles together. These are:

  • Municipality Xuanzhou -宣州区Xuanzhou Qū;
  • City Ningguo -宁国市Ningguo Shì;
  • Circle Langxi -郎溪县Langxi Xiàn;
  • Guangde County -广德县Guǎngdé Xiàn;
  • Jing County -泾 县Jing Xian;
  • Jingde county -旌德 县Jingde Xiàn;
  • Jixi county -绩溪 县Jixi Xiàn.
