Yaadein (Hindi: यादें, yādeṃ; Urdu: یادیں; lit.: Memories ) is a Hindi film directed by Subhash Ghai from the year 2001.
In the German-speaking area of the film was first shown on 12 August 2007 on the free to air channels RTL 2.
Action
Raj Singh Puri is very good friends with LK Malhotra and his younger brother JK Malhotra. The brothers run a large company ( Malhotra Empire ) and Raj is their employee.
Once Raj's wife Shalini was run over, he promises her even on his deathbed to have married his three daughters Avantika, Sania and Isha, who they want.
As they travel from London back to the home, married the eldest daughter Avantika. The marriage was arranged. As the second daughter wants to marry her lover, the father agrees only reluctantly. But soon there are the first difficulties. Sania wants a divorce because she did not get along well with her in-laws.
For this reason, Raj and his youngest daughter Isha against love and relationships. But this is changing for Isha as the heir to the Malhotra empire, Ronit her childhood friend, she woos. Raj, however, had already arranged a marriage with the wealthy Monishka for him. When he hears of Ronits wedding plans with Isha, Raj is very shocked and wants to stop the wedding.
Ronit must now prove that Isha is right for him Raj. Thus Ronit arranges a meeting with Monishka and Raj. In this meeting Raj Monishka must ask three questions. As Raj hear their answers, he realizes that Monishka is the wrong woman for Ronit.
Raj asks Malhotra to dissolve the engagement. But JK Malhotra has no intention and insulted Raj. Only bring as Ronits mother and uncle JK stands to reason the wedding of Isha and Ronit nothing in the way.

Criticism
" Completely conventional Bollywood drama that falls at best by its shoddy production that also leaves the actors gutwilligsten down from the frame. Far more annoying is that the well- photographed film makes no secret of his real intentions, ignored the history and product placement as wild as practiced numerous. "
