Yahya Berrabah

Yahya Berrabah ( born October 13, 1981 in Oujda ) is a Moroccan athlete who is mainly known as a long jumper. At a height of 1.86 m his competition weight is 75 kg.

Achievements

On 3 October 2009, he jumped in Beirut in the Francophone Games, an event analogous to the Commonwealth Games, with a new Moroccan 8.40m record and a record in these Championships. Already on 23 May 2009 he had improved in Rabat at the Meeting Mohammed VI d ' Athlétisme at 8.38 m the Moroccan record which had been held since the Athletics Africa Championships 2000 in Algiers with 8.34 m of Younes Moudrik. He landed in this qualifying event for the IAAF Grand Prix in front of Godfrey Mokoena Khotso and Miguel Pate. His greatest achievements also include winning the long jump competition at the African Championships 2008 in Addis Ababa with 8.04m. His longest jump in the long jump is 8.40 m ( Moroccan record in Beirut ) and in the triple jump at 16.44 meters, bounded on December 14, 2005 in Niamey.
