Yakisoba

Yakisoba (焼 そばor焼きそば) is a pasta dish of Japanese cuisine. Although " Soba " is part of the name, no buckwheat, but similarly uses the ramen noodles wheat flour.

The noodles are cooked together with vegetables, meat or fish. They may Teppanyaki restaurants either buy ready or prepare on the Teppan itself. Here, you get a bowl of pre-cooked noodles and the other ingredients. You can either fry until the noodles and the rest then add or put it all together on the teppan and fry. There is also a special yakisoba sauce.

Also on the various Japanese festivals ( matsuri ) there are alongside other food package or Yakisoba items.
