The Yalobusha River belongs to the basin of the Mississippi.

It rises northwest of the city of Houston in Chickasaw County in the northeastern part of the U.S. state of Mississippi. It flows in a south-westerly direction, the County Calhoun and Grenada before he joins in the city Greenwood Leflore County in the Tallahatchie River to the Yazoo River.
