Yamaha CS1X
In 1996, Yamaha brought to the CS1X a portable synthesizer on the market. The blue CS1X was built specially for the techno and groove music market. The synthesizer has among others the following features:

- 32 -note polyphony
- 30 types Arpeggiator
- 11 chorus and reverb algorithms
- 43 Variation effect algorithms
- Real-time control function (6 knobs, pitch and mod )
The user has 128 preset performances and 128 User Performances available.
1999 followed the models CS and CS 2 X 6 X.
