Yan Liben

Yan Liben (Chinese阎立本/阎立本, W.-G. Yen Li - pen, * 600, † 673 ) was a leading figure painter of the early Tang Dynasty in Imperial China. He lived at the imperial court and held high official posts. Some of the most outstanding paintings of the Tang period are attributed to him, including the Thirteen Emperors role (历代 帝王 图 卷).
