Yancheng

Province

Yancheng (盐城市, Yancheng Shì ) is a prefecture-level city in northeastern Jiangsu province. In 2007, the urban districts of 1,720 square kilometers 1.5264 million inhabitants, the entire administrative area Yanchengs almost 8 million inhabitants. Near the town is the Yancheng Nature Reserve, where the once extinct David Hirsch was reintroduced.

Administrative Divisions

At county level, Yancheng consists of two districts, two urban districts and five circles together. These are:

• Municipality Tinghu -亭 湖区Tinghu Qū;
• Municipality Yandu -盐都 区Yandu Qū;
• Binhai District -滨海 县Bīnhǎi Xiàn;
• Funing County -阜宁县Funing Xiàn;
• Circle Jianhu -建湖县Jianhu Xiàn;
• Circle Sheyang -射阳 县Sheyang Xiàn;
• Circle Xiang Shui -响水县Xiǎngshuǐ Xiàn;
• Dafeng City -大丰 市Dafeng Shì;
• Dongtai City -东台市Dongtai Shì.
