Yang Chum Noi District

Amphoe Yang Chum Noi ( in Thai อำเภอ ยางชุมน้อย ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the north of the province of Si Saket. The Si Saket province is located in the northeast region of Thailand, the so-called Isaan.

Geography

Amphoe Yang Chum Noi borders the following districts ( from east clockwise): Amphoe to the Kanthararom, Mueang Sisaket and Rasi Salai in the province of Sisaket, at Amphoe Kho Wang Yasothon province and to Amphoe Khueang Nai Ubon Ratchathani province.

History

Yang Chum Noi was born on September 1, 1971 initially as a sub-district ( King Amphoe ) was established by the three tambon Yang Chum Noi, Khon Kam and Lin Fa Amphoe Mueang were separated from Sisaket. On March 25, 1979, he was promoted to Amphoe.

Management

Amphoe Yang Chum Noi is divided into seven communities ( tambon), which in turn in 86 villages ( Muban ) are divided.

There is a small town ( thesaban tambon) in the district:

  • Yang Chum Noi ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล ยางชุมน้อย ), consisting of parts of the tambon Yang Chum Noi.

In addition, there are seven " Tambon Administrative Organizations" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - administrative organizations) in the district.
