Yang Xuanzhi

Xuanzhi Yang (杨 炫 之/杨 炫 之) was a Chinese prose writer and translator of texts of Mahayana Buddhism into Chinese. He lived in the 6th century during the period of the Northern Wei Dynasty. He is the author of the famous work Luoyang qielan ji (洛阳 伽蓝 记/洛阳 伽蓝 记, Report on the Buddhist Monasteries in Luoyang ').
