Yangshuo County

Yangshuo (Chinese阳朔 县/阳朔 县, Pinyin Yangshuo xian ) is the district of the city of Guilin in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in the People's Republic of China.

Location

Yangshuo is located in the karst area south of the city center of Guilin, about 65 km from Central Station.

Size

Yangshuo has an area of 1,428 km ² and approximately 310,000 inhabitants ( end of 2004). The capital and administrative center of the circle is the large village Yangshuo. She counted the Census in 2000, just under 41,000, but today approximately 100,000 inhabitants.

Economy

Economically, tourism contributes significantly to the standard of living of the inhabitants.
