Yangzee FC

Yangzee FC was a South Korean football club that existed 1967-1970.

The club was founded in 1967 by the then head of the Korean Central Intelligence Agency, Kim Hyung -wook, to improve the South Korean football after the selection of North Korea in 1966 successfully penetrated at the World Championships to the quarterfinals.

The recruitment of the best talent of the time was for a participation of the players instead of compulsory military service in the South Korean Army and the South Korean nationality.

The team dominated the domestic football scene of his time. In 1968 it reached the final of the Asian Club Championship. But this was lost with 0-1 against Maccabi Tel Aviv.

When the improved relations with North Korea in 1970, the team on 17 March 1970 resolved.
