Yaniv Katan

Yaniv Katan ( born January 27, 1981 in Haifa) is an Israeli football player. He plays the position of striker.

Career

With nine years Katan went to school Maccabi Haifa, one of the most famous and successful clubs in Israel. He went through all the youth teams of the club and played at the same time in the youth teams of the Israeli national team. At just 17 ​​years Katan stepped out of the A- youth directly to the senior squad. He was the first player an Israeli team, scored a goal in the UEFA Champions League.
