Yannick Cahuzac

Yannick Cahuzac (born 18 January 1985 in Ajaccio ) is a French football player.

Career

Cahuzac, who is the grandson of former French international Pierre Cahuzac, played in his youth for the youth of the FC Gazelec Ajaccio in Corsica, before transferring to also Corsican club Bastia SC 2002. He ran for the reserve team before the jump to the pros abolished in 2005. For this he succeeded his debut in the French second division, when he came off the bench in a 2-1 against SC Amiens on 12 August 2005 in the 85th minute. From then on he first came to sporadic operations until the spring of 2007 he was able to win a regular place itself. In 2010 he suffered relegation to the third division, abolished in 2011 with the team but direct resurgence.

A year later, he led the team as captain for the second division championship and for the second rise in a row; Cahuzac, who is known for an aggressive style of play that earned him numerous yellow cards and sending off, ran for the first time on 11 August 2012 in a 3-2 victory over FC Sochaux on in the höhchsten French league. Although he dropped out due to a broken arm had moved in January 2013 for much of the second half, but he could keep up with the team the class.

National

As the unofficial existing Corsican national team on 6 June 2009 after decades of inactivity against the Republic of Congo again fought out an international match, Cahuzac was a member of the squad and has been used. A year later, he took part for the selection on Corsica Football Cup and secured in the tournament with four teams in the final against Gabon the title. In a friendly match in May 2012, he scored his first goal.
