Yannick Favennec

Yannick Favennec ( born August 12, 1958 in Chaudron -en- Mauges, department of Maine -et -Loire ) is a French politician. He is the National Assembly since 2002 deputy.

After graduating from law school Favennec, who was already involved in politics as a teenager worked as a parliamentary assistant. After that, he was an advisor to François Leotard and worked after his appointment as Prime Minister in 1986 in his Culture and Communication Ministry. In 1991, he left politics and worked for Bull, where he was responsible for external relations. As chief advisor to the Secretary of State for Foreign Trade, he returned in 1995 in the Policy. After he was also an advisor to the mayor of Laval, he was a candidate at the 2002 general election. In the third constituency of the department of Mayenne, he was able to move for the UMP in the National Assembly. 2007 and 2012 he was re-elected as an MP. In November 2012, he moved from the UMP to the UDI Group, which includes right and centrist parties.
