Yanping District
Yanping (延平区) is a municipality of the prefecture-level city in Nanping of Fujian province, China. Yanping is the center of Nanping and is the seat of city government.
Yanping has an area of 2659.7 km ² and around 490,200 inhabitants ( end of 2003, only people with principal residence in Yanping ). Yanping has a gross domestic product of 6.8 billion yuan. The GDP per capita was 13,663 yuan and above the average for the province of Fujian.
