Yanshi

The independent city of Yanshi (偃师 市) is part of the administrative area of the prefecture-level city of Luoyang in western Henan province. The administrative area of the city of Yanshi has an area of ​​948.4 km ² and around 830,000 inhabitants ( end of 2003). In the village of Erlitou (二 里头 村) of the greater community Zhaizhen lies the archaeological site of the Bronze Age Erlitou culture.
