Yanyuan County

The circle Yanyuan (Chinese盐源 县, Pinyin Yanyuan Xiàn ) in the Liangshan Yi Autonomous County is located in southwest China's Sichuan Province, People's Republic of China. Its main town is the large village Yanjing (盐井 镇). The county has an area of ​​8388 km ² and has 320,000 inhabitants (2002 ), of which 2000 were 47% Yi, 44 % Han Chinese and 9 % other races according to the census in the year, especially the Mongols and Tibetans.
