Yarīm (Arabic يريم ) is a city in the province of Ibb in southwestern Yemen.

The city is surrounded by the Yemeni highlands on a plateau near the massif of Jebel Sumarah at an altitude of over 2600 meters above sea level. During the reign of the Old South Arabian kings of Himyar ( from about the 1st century BC to 570 AD) was Yarīm in the heart of their dominions. The capital of the Himyarite confederation (110 BC to 545/570 AD) Zafar is just 15 km south of Yarīm.

Today the town is a stopover along the north- south route from Sanaa to Ta ʿ izz and local trade center. After calculation of 2012, she hosts a population of over 66,000 inhabitants.
