Yash Raj Films
Yash Raj Films ( YRF ) is the production company of Yash Chopra, a well-known Indian producer and director. Initially he worked for the film company of his brother until 1970 he founded his own production company. Yash Raj Films is one of the largest film societies of India and has to produce an appreciable image, films of high quality.
Background
Yash Raj Films also has its own music label called Yash Raj Music and produces DVDs, videos and VCDs under the Yash Raj Films Home Entertainment label. Yash Raj Films Home Entertainment has become, available for purchase both the rights of Raj Kapoor's films and his production company, RK Films, and the Baldev Raj Chopra and of his production company BR Films.
2004 The Hollywood Reporter placed Yash Raj Films on the number 27 of the largest production company ( Biggest Film Distribution Houses ) in the world.
Since 2007, they sell their music in digital form on their website, along with DVDs and audio CDs. They have also started the soundtracks on iTunes for sale. In May 2007, they have partnered with The Walt Disney Company as a co- producer to commercialize animated films in India.
