Quote

"Of course, we have here the most radical religious people you can imagine. But I also see a different reality of Jerusalem: People with different religions and cultures living together. In my world there is no place for war and battle. I really wish we could have more respect for one another muster in this city of different worldviews. The Ladino songs are a good medium because they originated in a time in which the Jews lived in peace with Muslims in Spain. We must remember that there was a very long time mutual respect. And there is no reason why we should not do as well today. "
