Yavuz Bingöl

Yavuz Bingöl ( born October 7, 1964 in Istanbul) is a Turkish folk musician.

Biography

Yavuz Bingöls family is from the province of Kars. Since his father was a teacher and was therefore transferred periodically, the family had to move often. So Bingöl visited 1970-1975 four different elementary schools in Kars, Konya, Istanbul and Ankara. Bingöl finished his musical education in 1979. In 1989 he founded together with Nihat Aydın the band Grup Ezgi Umuda, which he left in 1995. Since 1995 he has published eleven albums. 2012 appeared the last album " Ates ".

In addition to his musical career began in 1998 Bingöl in films, initially with small supporting roles to acting. The film O Simdi Asker was nominated at the International Istanbul Film Festival as the best Turkish film. Since 2007, he shares in the popular television series " Esref Saati " in the starring role Yetkin Dikinciler. In 2008, he starred in the award-winning film Üç maymun of Nuri Bilge Ceylan with.
