YDbDr

The YDbDr color model is used only when analog color television according to the standard SECAM, for which it was also developed.

YDbDr used to represent an image information of three components: luminance Y (luminous intensity per unit area, luma ) and chrominance two ( color components ) Db and Dr. It thus belongs to the brightness Farbigkeits color models.

The analog YDbDr color model is different from the closely related analog YUV color model. Only by other scaling ( attenuation or amplification ) factors of the two color signals The luminance signal Y on the other hand is made the same as in YUV color model. By comparing coefficients, the conversion factors between the signals U and V, respectively, and Dr and Db can be determined:
