Yefim Bronfman

Yefim Bronfman (Hebrew יפים ברונפמן; born April 10, 1958 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan ) is an American- Israeli pianist.

His father was concertmaster of the opera orchestra and his mother was a pianist. For friends of the father also included Emil Gilels and David Oistrakh. He was trained as a pianist and played with twelve years of the First Piano Concerto by Sergei Rachmaninoff. When he was 14 years old, he emigrated with his parents to Israel, where he studied with Arie Vardi. His studies he continued in the USA at Rudolf Serkin and Leon Fleisher. He had with Zubin Mehta and the Montreal Symphony Orchestra in 1975. Today he is one of the famous pianists in the world His international debut.
