Yelbeghen

Yilbegän ( [ jilbe'gæn ]; Йилбегән; Yelbegän, Tartar: Cilbegän / Җилбегән ) is a multi -headed, man-eating monster in the mythology of the Turkic and Siberian Tatars.

In some myths, the Yilbegän as a winged dragon, snake-like creature, or as ogerähnlicher Behemoth, riding on an ox with 99 horns described. Some epics contain multi-headed Yilbegän as descendants of Altan Sibaldai, the "Golden Witch ", which is a vassal of the underworld. Other epics describe an Yilbegän as a king named Yelmogus.
