Yelena Churakova

Jelena Anatoljewna Tschurakowa (Russian: Елена Анатольевна Чуракова; born December 16, 1986 in Kungur ) is a Russian athlete who specializes in the 400 - meter hurdles.

In 2009 she participated in the World Championships in Berlin, where she was eliminated in the semifinals. Two years later, she reached the finals at the World Championships in Daegu and was eighth. 2012 ran Tschurakowa at the European Championships in Helsinki in a personal best of 54.78 seconds to fifth place. At the Olympic Games in London, they did not reach the final.

At a doping test in 2013, among other testosterone was detected in Tschurakowa. She was then banned for two years.
