Yelena Dembo

Yelena Dembo (Russian: Елена Владимировна Дембо, born December 8, 1983 in Penza) is a Russian chess player and trainer, who played in the Soviet, as well as for the Israeli and Hungarian Chess Federation. Currently she plays in the Greek national team.

Life

Her parents are both chess players. Her mother, Natalia Fokina played for the Israeli national team and her father, a concert pianist Vladimir Dembo, is a chess trainer. When she was seven years old, her parents moved to Tel Aviv, Israel, when she was 14 years old Budapest, Hungary. Chess
