Yelena Melnikova

Yelena Vladimirovna Melnikova - Tschepikowa (Russian: Елена Владимировна Мельникова - Чепикова; born June 17, 1971 in Artjomowski ) is a Russian former biathlete.

Yelena Vladimirovna Melnikova - Tschepikowa started in their active time for Profsojuz Sverdlovsk. She celebrated her biggest success at the Olympic Winter Games in Albertville in 1992, where she won the bronze medal for the United team with Jelena Belowa and Anfisa Reszowa at the first discharge of biathlon competitions for women in the relay race. Also in the Biathlon World Cup they reached repeatedly good results, such as they could win the relay race with Jelena Golovina, Reszowa and Iwa Agalakowa 1991 in Ruhpolding. She is married to Sergei Tschepikow.
