Jelena Ilyinichna Poljonowa (Russian: Елена Ильинична Полёнова; born August 20, 1983 in Oral) is a Russian handball player.

Poljonowa moved in 2005 from HK Dynamo Volgograd Zvezda Zvenigorod to. With the Zvezda backcourt player won the 2007 Russian Cup and the EHF Cup, and 2008, the EHF Champions League and EHF Champions Trophy. Poljonowa played until 2010 at Zvezda. After Poljonowa played in the 2010/11 season in Astrakhan, they undertook subsequent to Le Havre in the French league. After a season in Le Havre, denied in the Poljonowa due to a knee surgery a few games, they moved to Blanzat Sports Montlucon.

Poljonowa has played 106 international matches for the Russian national team. With Russia, it was 2005 and 2007 World Champion. At the European Championships she won the silver medal in 2006 and 2008 the bronze medal. In the 2008 Olympics she won the silver medal. A short time later, she retired from the national team.
