Yelena Zadorozhnaya

Jelena Anatoljewna Sadoroschnaja (Russian: Елена Анатольевна Задорожная, English transcription Yelena Zadorozhnaya, . Born December 3, 1977 in Ust- Kut ) is a Russian middle distance, long distance and obstacle runner.

In 2001, she won over 3000m bronze medal at the World Indoor Championships in Lisbon and finished sixth in the 5000m at the World Championships in Edmonton. In 2002 she won the 5000m bronze medal at the European Championships in Munich. The following year she was more than 1500 m and 5000 m Eighth fourth at the World Championships in Paris / Saint -Denis, and at the World Indoor Championships in Budapest in 2004 they finished sixth.

At the Olympic Games in Athens, she was the fastest non-African runner Fourth over 5000 m. In 2005, she launched over 3000 m steeplechase at the World Championships in Helsinki and finished sixth.
