The Yellowhead Pass is a mountain pass in the Rocky Mountains. It lies on the border between Alberta and British Columbia in Jasper National Park and Mount Robson Provincial Park. Since his rise is low and evenly distributed on a long distance, the beginning of the 20th century used it the Grand Trunk Pacific Railway for their route across the Rocky Mountains. The route is now operated by the Canadian National Railway. About the pass also performs the Yellowhead Highway. Namesake of the pass was the Métis Trapper Tête Jaune ( Yellowhead English ).
