Yemen national football team

The Yemeni national football team is the national team of Yemen.

As Yemen was divided into the states of North and South Yemen, there were two teams. After the reunification of the two states in 1990, the Yemeni national football team came into the succession of North Yemen national football team, the südjemenitische football team was disbanded.

Yemen (or North Yemen ), it has not yet been able to qualify for a World Cup or the Asian Cup. The only participation of a Yemeni team South Yemen succeeded in Asian Cup 1976.
